Loudon My mother: Parent of Minnie also told me that there was Indian in my grannys blood line This article may or may not relate William Lovelace, Sr, was a contractor on the Livingston to London star route and it was carried mule back to Carr Justice long before the railroad came to Livingston. With the coming of the railroad, the demand for extended services became so great that Jesse Lovelace and his brother purchased two stage coaches which they placed on daily schedules between the two points and kept in service until the railroad passenger service was extended to London on July 15, 1882.
