Lila Minnie <-William Perry <-Thomas Eugene <-Nathan <-Asa <-Barton <-Benjamin The Star Shelby, NC November 22, 2010 EUNICE HORN DIED NOV. 21, 2010 KINGS MOUNTAIN - Eunice Davis Horn, 76, of 306 Wright Road went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. She was born in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Crowder Garmon and Lila Minnie Lovelace Davis and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Davis and Hershel Davis and granddaughter Sophie Allen. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Circle. She loved her Lord and her family. She loved to garden and work in the yard, to quilt and write poetry. She was a certified nursing assistant for 35 years. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Oland Horn; sons, Mitchell McKinney and wife Ruby and Jerald McKinney and wife Lynn, all of Kings Mountain; daughters, Doris McKinney Stroup and husband, Dennis of Kings Mountain; Angela McKinney Roberts and husband Johnny of Polkville; and Eva McKinney Allen and husband Malcolm, Vero Beach, FL; brothers, Franklin Davis of Kings Mountain; Glen Davis of Grover; sisters, Dorothy Grigg of Waco; Rachel Costner of Cherryville; Sylvia Stacey of, Kings Mountain; Mozell Justice of Kings Mountain; and Fairylee Coffee, Boone, NC; and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
