The Spartanburg Herald-Journal November 5, 2010 Jeri Sanders GAFFNEY, SC-- Jerald Dean "Jeri" Lovelace Sanders, 83, of 106 Cameron Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gastonia, NC, she was the widow of the late Lee Roy Sanders and daughter of the late Allen Lovelace. She was a homemaker and graduate of Gaffney High School. Mrs. Sanders was a devoted "Air Force wife" and a volunteer with the USO and Headstart program. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She is survived by a daughter, Lee Sanders Harmon and husband Jerry of Gaffney; a brother, Allen Lovelace, Jr. and wife Diane of Greenville; a sister, Helen Lovelace Gray of Dahlgren, VA; a granddaughter, Jennifer (JJ) Harmon Segina and husband Michael Corry Segina; a great-grandchild, Michael Grayson Segina. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Lovelace Sanders. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services for both Jerald Dean "Jeri" Sanders and her late husband, Lee Roy Sanders, will immediately follow at 4:00 PM in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Sanders and Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1886, Gaffney, SC 29342; or Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
