    2. Mornin' Cuzzies, Balmy, cloudy day in Houston at daybreak....73 degrees. Supposed to rainlater and get down to freezing w/in 48 hours. Happy Turkey Day to everyone! I'm reminded of when I was a child duringWW II.....oh, yes, this ole gal is long in tooth o: ......and Momma would alwayshave two servicemen stationed in the San Antonio area enjoy Thanksgiving dinnerwith us. Such grateful, grateful boys! Years later she would always receiveletters from them, pictures of their families, and long held appreciation. Kindanice the way the country was then. I wish each of you a wonderful, peaceful, happy day, and I include you in myThanksgiving thoughts and prayers. Each of you has enriched my life in so manyways. As we sit around our tables, certainly there are those who are no longerwith us whom we remember with so much love during these special holiday times....but, remember the old saying.....the glass half full rather than the glass half empty. 3. Happy Thanksgiving from the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico where we got in the festive mood with a light snow and temps in the teens. Also helped to have our soldier son with us this year. Good dose of red chile glazed bird and the trimmings followed by a nice nap. Tomorrow starts the Christmas decorating.
