    1. Re: [LL] DNA testing
    2. Lou Ann; Ah, you see my problem, I am coming up with what you have, conflicting information. That is why the DNA question. I have a suitcase full of papers and after going through all of them nothing concrete, they do have the date of Feb. 13, 1854 for the birth of James Moses Lovelace who married Nancy Ann Lockhart and a marriage certificate for them. Lawrence repeated mentioned in his letters of inquiry all over the country that his grandfather James Moses was Illiterate, and everything he knew was from what his grandfather had told him. He was told James Moses came from Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky. Left home because of not getting along with a step parent. Lawrence said he was in some kind of a home in Kentucky between 1870 and 1880 but was taken out by someone to work at logging in Washington County, Indiana and that he stayed there for the rest of his life. You are correct the age is all over the place. Lawrence said that was because his grandfather did not read or write so didn't know how to write down what the correct date was or didn't even know for sure himself. Sheila
