    1. [LL] DNA testing
    2. Hello I am new to this list and am trying to help a friend who is trying to finish a search her husband had been working on for years. He died in 2008 and she is over 80 and does not use a computer. She does have two sons who might be willing to do a DNA test to see what Lovelace line they come from. She gave me a suitcase full of documents she and her husband Lawrence Lee Lovelace had traveled around and collected, plus many letters they had written to try and unravel her husbands family. He was born in 1928 in Salem Washington County, Indiana, but his father & grandfather told him that his grandfather came from Pulaski County, Kentucky. His grandfathers name was James M (Moses) Loveless born about 1854 in Pulaski County. He left home because of not getting along with a step mother, and ended up in Washington County, where he lived the rest of his life. I think I have him back to John Thomas (Good Tom) Lovelace. Has anyone from this line been tested? I will need to try and explain to her what this test entails, how much it would cost and how it is done. Where do I get that information? Thank you to anyone who can help. Sheila Kell Jennings County, Indiana

    2. Jack D. Lovelace
    3. Sheila, I do not have a Lawrence Lee Lovelace b: 1828 in my database. Also, I do not see one in Washington County, Indiana on the 1930 census. Could you let me known the name of Lawrence's father and grand-father. I might have them in my database and I could check out his ancestry. I do have a James Moses Lovelace/Loveless b: between 1881 and 1890. I do not have any descendents for him. James line goes: Cyrenius G. Loveless, John Loveless, Zachariah Lovelace and John Thomas Loveless. I have not been able to identify the ancestor of John Thomas.
