Sheila, I think I have the James Moses you referred to. If this is the right one, the line does not trace to John Thomas "Good Tom" Lovelace, but to a different John who also is from the MD group and whose father we have not pinned down yet. Jack, jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the line the way I have it. John b 1748 MD d 1823/24 Campbell Co KY m Milla/Milly b VA d KY I have eight children for John and Milley son James b ca 1785/86 VA d aft 1850 Pendleton Co KY m Mary "Polly" Arvin b ca 1785 OH their son Henry b ca 1822 with wife Liza (no further info) or wife Hannah Hutton ....not sure which was mother of James James Moses b Jun 14, 1848 d May , 1941 Washington Co IN m Nancy Anna Lockhart I have 5 children for them...sons James William, Emmet L and Cecil Lee One of those three would have been the father of Lawrence Lee. Emmett is the only one I have marriage info for, but I don't have his children. I do have that he was buried in Salem, Washington Co IN. One note on the above info. I do have a notation on Henry that he needs to be proven, so I won't 100% guarantee the accuracy of this. This branch of Lovelaces is our lister Jack Lovelace's and he may be able to add something. By the way, the Hazel you mentioned is a brother to James who married Mary "Polly" Arvin. I think DNA testing would be wonderful here. It could help us determine if James indeed belongs to the John & Milly line or to "Good Tom". And, FYI, there is a James M b Feb 13, 1854 in Pulaski Co KY who is of the "Good Tom" line. And as I look more closely at these two Jameses, I truly am not sure whick one of them is the one married to Nancy Lockhart in IN. Census records on the James in Indiana have his birthdate all over the map, anywhere from 1849 to 1853 or so. Lou Ann
