Maybe Larry was referring to "The Loveless-Lovelace and Allied Families" by Florence Keeney Loveless Roberston. I remembver seeing a copy that showed Flo on the cover wearing a huge hat. The book was published in 1953 and connected the family of John Baptist Lovelace to the John Lovelace of the 13th century.
