Joseph's name appeared on a document of the land that John ended up with. My recollection is that DNA brings John into the MD group. And Joseph seems to disappear from the records after that land transaction. Did he die and leave the orphan Good Tom and another son John both of whom are found marrying in the general area where John who married Rachel is found. There are other connections for MD ties which have always pointed me toward MD with those guys and they have to do with the CAWOODS who were a definite MD family. Then there are also connections to the Van Hooks, but I can't do those from memory. I'd have to go back to my data base to find the specifics. Lou Ann
