Louise was born March 29, 1915 to the late William Martin Owen and Maude Hensley Owen. She was formally employed at Lou's Beauty Shop as a beautician and a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Shelby. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gordon Reid; niece, Rachel Cheek; and nephew, Robert Greene. She is survived by her nieces, Brenda Mitchem and Mary Greene; nephew, Don Cheek Sr.; great-nephews, Joseph Greene and Don Cheek Jr.; and great-nieces, Linda Lovelace, Marie Hooper and Dannis Allison.
