Mornin' Cuzzies, The weather has been soooo fine around here that I've spent most of mah time outdoors, putsying....which includes messing w/ plants and wandering in the woods, hoping I don't step on a copperhead which are so well camouflaged. Black and Yella, two of the cat crew, usually accompany me, which helps. Both are big outdoor cats who lived in the woods before they decided to move in here....well know their way around. Bringing you up to date w/ the Fluff saga, newest orphan cat.....who's been hanging around since before the winter started last year. He has finally developed a routine wherein he comes to eat twice a day now, chows down purdy good, but is still really thin. He both hisses and mews at me at the same time.....I can pet him on the top of his head. Doesn't purr. I think he's really been abused. In the mornings after he's eaten, he stretches out on the upstairs deck for a very relaxed nap.....boy stretches out on his back or on his tummy w/ both hind legs stretched out behind him....really crashes big time. When the sun takes over his shady spot along about 11 in the morning, he moves on to other places....I know not where. A really pretty little kitty.....small, but I think full grown....lots of hair. I so wish people took better care of their kitties! It was a hold your breath moment yesterday when the Arizona Diamondbacks came to town to play the Astros.....the word was there was gonna be a b-i-g demonstration, and that's abt. what we needed around here for the po cellar team, the 'Stros, who don't seem to be able to beg, borrow, or steal a hit. When all was said and done, only about 25 people who oppose Arizona's controversial new immigration law gathered in front of Minute Maid Park to picket yesterday's baseball game. Y'all have a good one! Buckette
