    2. Mornin' Cuzzies, A number of years ago.....ahem....when I was 6 or 7, I went to this private girls school, and they had a May Fete thingie wherein a pretty little upperclassman actually did the May Pole thingee w/ long naturally blonde hair....don't ever see one of those anymore, and then was elected May Day Queen......Lawdy, lawdy, I was impressed right outta mah shoes! And, she was barefooted.....that got mah attention, too! So, it's been my life long ambition to be elected May Day Queen.....and I've never seen one of those again. But, were I to, you can bet I'd jump right into the middle of it! And, today is the Kentucky Derby Day.....which also has great meaning in mah life.....I was headed in that direction, having come from winning the great Quarter horse equivalent.....where I knew the trainers today.....Pletcher, Lukas, and Blaffert....and beat them, thank you very much! We were all together in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Now the track today, according to the weather report, is supposed to be a swimming pool.....rain all day long and lots of it. You never know how your horse is gonna take to those conditions until you put him out on it.....and it's incredibly dangerous because they just really have no base under them. Aaaaand, we have the oil spill which maybe one of the more horrific things I've ever watched.....it may totally kill of the coast in my lifetime. And, you well know what an animal lover I am.....and the loss of wildlife is going to be massive. We watch TV w/ great interest because Ole Buckley was a petroleum engineer and ran the biggest field Argentina had which was a water flood.....now that's different than an off-shore operation. But, as one of the highly trained techs in the bidness, he said he just couldn't imagine this prob in the Gulf. He said BP didn't run a good show......they had an explosion in the last several years here at one of their refineries which killed 15 people. Ole Buckley's not too impressed w/ that. Anyhoo, what I think you can expect from the whole deal is the gubmit take over of the oil bidness.......we laugh at all the gubmit officials and attys running to the scene of the crime, like they could offer any constructive suggestions at all. They don't have the vaguest clue! Look for gasoline to go to $4 and $5 a gallon. Gonna get dicey! o : Have a good one! Buckette
