    2. Mornin' Cuzzies, Had a bunch of good rain last night....lots of rumbles, cha zams, and bright flashes. Ah like a good rain storm ( : .....but, not one that brings the water up to mah deck w/ minnows swimming around in the top of the water. That's not cool. That was two yrs. ago, to our shock! And, radar shows some more rain, not minnows, coming in this morn. It's gonna interrupt orphan cat Fluff's morning snooze. ) : In fact, it must be cat snooze time. As I look around the room, I can reach out and touch 4 cats zonked. Got another biggie horse race today, the Preakness. And, of course, I'll be rooting for my Cajun jockey, Calvin Burrell, who gets unabashedly soooo excited when he wins. Generally the bigger the sports arena, the cooler are the victors......not Calvin. He just goes all to pieces, and Ah just looooove it! The trainer is a Texas boy who's daddy I knew around the tracks....nice family. The really strange thing are Calvin's mounts...these are young horses, not all that used to the whoopla, probably none of them have been under a saddle a year. So, when you are around these babies, you take great care not to make any sudden moves or wave your arms, etc......otherwise, the horses veer and you will find yourself quickly on the ground. Somehow those horses that are ridden by Calvin trust him completely.....if the horse wins, Calvin goes nuts.....waves his arms, jumps all around in the saddle, and his mounts don't seem to flick an ear over it. You watch today.....ole Super Saver will just plod along like an ole draft horse back to the winner's circle while Calvin does almost back flips on SS's back. Where are mah Lassie reruns? I used to watch them on Sattida morns......yeah, in my 20's yet. ( : Y'all have a good one! Buckette
