    2. Mornin' Cuzzies, Well, it's a TGIF today for nothing more than to close the stock market down later today to stop the bleeding! o : Mer ceeee! Are we ever in a hellava mess...... My silly realtor was just before closing two deals on my condos......and I was pushing him to do both as soon as possible because you never know how the world economic situation is gonna change and rapidly. Well, nooooo, he had to go off and see the girl friend in another town. o : Now, the buyers are on a "wait and see" program, and I don't blame them, and the deals aren't done. ) : And, this gusher sitting in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.....Ole Buckley is a petroleum engineer who are the people who take care of just such a prob. And, the difficulty of doing so is above and beyond. You can believe that the best trained in the world are standing over that hole....whether they can handle it or not remains to be seen. They are dealing w/ a situation that's never been faced before.....w/ methods and equipment that's also never been tried. We can only hope! Po New Orleans.....star of the South! Is taking a beating......my fav place in the US.....nuttiest, most loosey goosey, laid back place in the world! One of the times I was there I passed a teenage boy in the French Quarter wearing a hysterical t-shirt.....don't remember what it said, but it was the funniest one I'd ever seen! I commented on it. He took it off. I gave him a $10 bill and went on down the street.....yes, I took it home, washed it, and wore it at the next day's workout of the swim team, and they almost drowned laughing. Yes, I kept my kids entertained so that they would go thru grueling workouts day after day. It was part of the job description. Y'all have a good one today! ( : Buckette

    2. Susan - You have mentioned that your husband had worked for a petroleum company. What is the name of the company? And ask him if he has heard of an organization called STLE (Society of Tribologists & Lubrication Engineers). I used to work for them and they had many of the Petroluem Companies as members, including BP. Ginny of Chicago
