Greg- My daughter travels to Phoenix frequently, and I have gone along. Good places are the Heard Museum of Indian Culture in Phoenixwww.heard.org ; Saguaro National Park and Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum north of Tuscan are a good day of driving and sightseeing; http://www.desertmuseum.org/visit/ ; http://www.nps.gov/sagu/ Alton's suggestion is another full day of unbelievable sights. My daughter gets back from a trip there tomorrow and I'll ask her if she has other suggestions for places within the city.
