Mornin' Cuzzies, Going into the last of the summer hoorahs.....if you are taking off, be careful driving, but have a great time. ( : The last of the great quarter horse races takes place Monday in Ruidoso, New Mexico....the equivalent to the Kentucky Derby for thoroughbreds. It's generally a saga, lasts 20 seconds, pays over $1 mil to the winner..... we won the thing 39 yrs. ago! It was a trip! Horse lived to be in his 30's.....which is old for a horse! He had a great life.....got a brushing every day and had lots of girl frens. ( : Looks as if the east coast hurricane isn't going to be so deadly.....which is good. But, too, it seems as though storms are rolling off the coast of Africa almost on a daily basis....amazing! Have a good one! I'm off to mah rat killin'.....and there's a bunch of those! o : Buckette
