Mornin' Cuzzies, Great, big beautiful day here.....not killing heat....one can actually breathe outside. Not a cloud in the sky though rain is supposed to be in the area. So, Da Kid and I went thru a rain storm yesterday and came out on the other side to clear skies. ( : The opening game of the Texas Longhorn football season has been a together family number for over 30 years and we had to go it w/out the captain of our team, Ole Buckley. We laughed abt how he would complain abt. the coaches, and, too, we were grateful he wasn't having to fight a body that didn't want to play anymore. We ended the day by going to one of OB's favorite Mexican restaurants and ate a ton of nochos, as we told Da Kid's squeeze some of the crazy things he'd do or say. A very peaceful and pleasurable way of getting thru some of life's rough spots. In the meantime I've had to hire an atty to deal w/ two banks, and probate still hasn't come and gone almost 6 weeks later which means all funds are frozen at this point. Now, that would cut many people's throats for sure, but this ole gal is resourceful and has landed on her feet. I will tell you the story when it's over so that you can hopefully avoid the mess that we are in.....due to nothing that was done or not done by any member of the family....it's due strictly to complete incompetence.
