Thanks, Bob Stewart ================================ The Shelby Star, September 3, 2010 Roy Biddy CHERRYVILLE-Mr. Roy Benjamin Biddy, 70, died on Sept. 1, 2010, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Reidville, S.C., he was the son of the late Benjamin Layton and Bessie Ann Maltba Biddy. He was a member of Allen Memo-rial Baptist Church where he was the former Choir Director. He also sang in many Gospel groups over the years. He loved to tell jokes, read mysteries and working outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 19 halfbrothers and sisters. Mr. Biddy is survived by; his wife, Amanda Ann Stroup Biddy; son, Jason Wright of Cherryville; daughter, Amy Holm of Kings Mountain; brother Paul Biddy of Georgia.; sister, Edna Lovelace and husband Bill of Shelby; and granddaughter, Ashley England of Kings Mountain.
