Mornin' Cuzzies, Spent most of yesterday morn in Probate Court. Now, if that isn't a fiasco! A lot of attys are doing very well, thank you, from fees to deal w/ mirads of uncontested wills in this country.....not to mention the busy work that keeps judges from being idle. And, the new courtroom in the new courtroom bldg. is an elaborate monument to our taxpayer dollar! Inlaid wood designs, etc. etc. Those of us there swear to this and that. Believe many elected lawmakers have done the same and you see where that got us.....on both sides, folks.... this is not partisan politics. It's an anti-legislators attitude for decades. o : Not only that, there are no inheritance taxes, so why have to itemize the worth of an estate? Just doesn't make much sense. Except me thinks the Feds want to know where all the guns and gold are in the country because they are coming after both.....and being a Texan, they will get both out of my cold, dead hands!
