Both my grandfather and great-greatgrandfather;s were Archibald's. Archie& Nancy moved together with Sally& enry from North Carolina to Mo. in 1838, selling their land on Hunting Creek in N.C. Nancy was killed in a runaway accident returning home from Smithton , Mo. They ad gone to purchase their daughter Nancy's wedding clothes. This was before 1868. They had 9 children.
