Mornin' Cuzzies, I don't know abt your neighborhood last night, but ours was pretty quiet as far as fireworks were concerned. Guess they weren't in the mood for a lotta spitzinpoppin' and flash. o : Usually we can hear a lotta stuff from all over Houston, but there was not so much. Hope your Fourth was grand! We had a very unusual visitor in the form of one fiesty French bulldog semi-puppy....she's abt. 2 yrs. old. What a complete cute mess! She lives w/ Da Kid and Girl de Jour, named Roxie. She wanted badly to play w/ the cat crew who would have none of a rough 'n tumble w/ no fat, strange puppy. Have you ever seen a French bull dawgie? Boy, are they cute! Strangely enough the least offended cat was Blackie, my feral. He just stood his ground, or rather sat his ground. Tail wrapped neatly around him, and just glared....didn't hiss, didn't raise a paw, didn't growl. Blackie was *not* intimidated whatsoever. Actually pretty funny. And, the little dog knew not to mess....gave Blackie a wide berth as she challenged each one of the other cats. It was a show! Got lots a little projects going on here------>I'm on my way. Y'all have a good one! Buckette
