    3. Greetings to all the Loveless/Lovelace Cousins, I've just joined the group and as most of you, am interested in my ancestors. Looking forward to learning all I can and especially learn how to verify information and it's sources. As I'm sure, most of us had some very fond memories of relatives during our early childhoods and would like to pass these memories on to those who come after us. My particular interest is in filling in missing information on some of the later day limbs of the tree with updated and current information. From looking at a few of the sites, there is a fair amount of missing information in my own line for the last two generations. By the way, I'm one of the Barton Brats with the following line: Me (Richard Carter Loveless), my father>Claude Carter Loveless>John Marion Loveless> Abner Powell Loveless> Barton & Ibby Johnson> Samuel & Annie Byers>Barton & Lucy Watson>Benjamin b 1727 & Sarah. For the past 20 years, I've lived in Titusville, FL but was born and raised in Mississippi. Some of my earliest recollections are living on a farm near Thrasher, MS which, back in the day, would have been part of the old Tishomingo County in North East Mississippi. The first house I can remember was built back about the time of the civil war and was located on a small hill about 1/2 mile from the nearest road just north of Thrasher. Does anyone have any information on the location of the cemetery near Bardstown, Nelson City, KY? Will be through there last part of July and would like to locate if possible to verify burial location of Benjamin Loveless. Look forward to hearing from you. Richard "Dicky" Loveless

    3. Hi Richard, and welcome to the group!   I'm another one of the "Barton Brats," being descended from Capt. James Albert Loveless (1810-1867), one of the younger Barton's brothers. They were sons of Samuel and Annie Byers Lovelace. My lineage is in the archives in several places, so I won't repeat it here.   I'm sure the other Barton descendants will agree with me when I say that it's always a pleasure to meet a new cousin!   Best regards,   Terry White --- On Wed, 6/30/10, Richard <rclove@earthlink.net> wrote: From: Richard <rclove@earthlink.net> Subject: [LL] New Cousin in Florida To: Lovelace@rootsweb.com Date: Wednesday, June 30, 2010, 5:35 PM Greetings to all the Loveless/Lovelace Cousins, I've just joined the group and as most of you, am interested in my ancestors.  Looking forward to learning all I can and especially learn how to verify information and it's sources.
