Gregory Paul Holmes Gregory Paul "Chief" Holmes, 42, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016. He was born September 3, 1973, in Washington, a son of Robert E. Holmes Jr. and Jo Anna Lovelace Kellogg. He worked at Jimmy's Restaurant and later at Southpointe Country Club as a prep cook. He enjoyed baseball, spending time with his family and his English mastiff, Yatsko. Surviving are his father, Robert E. Holmes Jr., and his loving stepmother, Bonnie, of Washington; mother Jo Anna Kellogg of Sebring, Ohio; brother Damon (Chelly) Holmes of Canonsburg; sister Dreama (Bill) Mecklenburg of Cleveland, Ohio; nephew Dale; niece Melissa; great-niece Aliyah; and several half brothers, half sisters, uncles, aunts and cousins.
