Billy worked owned and operated Bill's Used Tires for several years and worked for Appling Boring Company for over twenty years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #2422. Billy enjoyed all types of car racing, fishing and spending time outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, survivors include two sons, Travis Moore and wife, Sandi of Rutherfordton and Billy J. Lovelace, Jr. and wife, Danielle of Ellenboro; two brothers, Edward Lovelace, Jr. and wife, Sonya of Ellenboro and Stephen C. Lovelace and wife, Theresa of Mooresboro; one sister, Edie Sheehan of Golden Valley. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Braxton Brentley, Haylee Laney, Joshua Hamrick, Emerald Rose and a special family friend, Stephen Lawson of Danieltown. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 in the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with his brother, Steve Lovelace, officiating.
