Edward R. "Ray" Zimmerman Zimmerman, Edward R. "Ray" Aged 86 of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Saturday August 20th 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Judy, two daughters; Bernice (Greg) Peck, Sandra (Earl) Loveless, son Edward (Donna) Zimmerman Jr., Eight Grandchildren; Tyson (Terri) Peck, Tawny Peck, Tina (Jason) Plunkett, Colton Zimmerman, Blake Zimmerman, Bret (Sam) Loveless, David Loveless, Elizabeth Loveless, ten Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ray served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. After returning from the Navy he became a Millwright and retired from Reynolds Metal. After his retirement from Reynolds Metal he worked at the Lake Michigan Family Fare for over 20 years. He was a faithful Father and Husband. Ray had many interests including Gardening, Animals especially his pet squirrel, Playing Set Back with his friends at Jackson Street Hall and comedy the three stooges being his favorite. A Memorial Service will be held at the Greater Life Pentecostal Church 1667 Wilson SW, Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday August 27th at 1:00 PM.
