Josephine Naramore Roberts HOLT - Josephine Naramore Roberts, age 86, went home to Heaven on August 9, 2016 surrounded by her family at Hospice of West Alabama. Josie was a longtime resident of the Holt community, but presently resided at Hamrick Highlands Assisted Living. Josephine's greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and she served faithfully at Holten Heights Church of the Nazarene. Services will be held on August 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel; Pastor Bill Holley presiding. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Roberts, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Junkin; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Roberts and Debbie Roberts; and granddaughter, Vickie Jolene Junkin. Survivors include her children, Stanley Roberts, Jr. (Sherrie), Billy Roberts (Linda), Joe Roberts (Kelle), and Cindi Barksdale (Jeb); son-in- law, Wayne Junkin (Carol); sister, Irene Hamlin; and nieces, Jewel Hall Janice Magouirk. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon Roberts (Dayna), Bobby Junkin (Jennifer), Amanda Bergeron (Kelly), Kristin Woodall (Wade), Randi Hall, Justin Roberts, Chris Roberts (Ashley), Meghann Roberts, Chase Hall, Matthew Roberts (Nathali), Jeremy Roberts, Brian Barksdale (Amy), Gene Caddis (Carolyn), Brock Lovelace, Jaclyn Mixon (Tim), and Lora Nix (Mark); and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chase Hall, Bobby Junkin, Brandon Roberts, Chris Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, Justin Roberts, Kade Roberts, and Matthew Roberts.
