He was born on July 27, 1946 in Tuluca, North Carolina and was a son of the late Elbert Hugh Lovelace and Maggie Hardin Lovelace Marlowe. Ronnie worked for many years in textiles and later as a cook in area nursing homes. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Bostic and enjoyed farming and four wheeling. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His brother, Edward Hugh Lovelace preceded him in death. "Survivors include his wife, Donnie Gettys Lovelace, two sons, Johnny Lovelace and wife Wendy of Bostic, Daniel Lovelace and wife Marie of Ellenboro, three sisters, Joanne Greene, Naomi Murray, and Sandra Graul all of Bostic, as well as three grandchildren, Matthew, Kamryn, and Ryder Lovelace. "The funeral will be held at three o'clock Wednesday in the Mountain View Baptist Church with Reverend Clayton Hartsell and Chaplain Janice Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 until 2:45 pm Wednesday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Mt.
