Bernard "Gene" Lovelace, 76, passed away September 29, 2016. Gene was born September 29, 1940 in Waco, TX to the late James Elkin and Helen Bruner Lovelace. Gene is survived by his daughter, Tonya (Marcus) Casillas of Victoria; sister, Jennifer Lovelace of Velma, OK and grandchildren, Michael Lovelace, Cody Lovelace, Tyler Lovelace, Jesika Benavides, Jordan Benavides and Mikenna Casillas. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Lovelace; sister, Jacqueline Lovelace and an infant sister. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 1-2:30 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a burial to follow at 3 PM at Red Bluff Cemetery in Lolita, TX.
