Charles Lovelace(1953 - 2016) Charles W. Lovelace Merritt Island, FL Charles W. Lovelace, 63, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 after a long battle with illness. Born in Cloquet, MN, Charlie was a US Army Veteran. He graduated from high school in Springfield, IL. He worked as an Electrical Technician and Supervisor for 22 years at Guardian Mfg. Charlie was a very private person who was an avid NASCAR fan and Minnesota Vikings Supporter. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars and flying in vintage aircrafts. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Luther Lovelace, He is survived by his wife, Macrina Lovelace of Merritt Island; mother Lois Lovelace of Port St. John; daughter, Michele Harris of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Fred of FL; sister, Laurie Mefford of Port St. John. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 3PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home. At Charlie's request, casual dress is encouraged.
