Gaston GazetteGastonia, NC September 22, 2016 CHARLOTTE - Nan Lovelace McGlohon, 95, wife of the late Loonis McGlohon, died on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at the Sharon Towers Retirement Community in Charlotte. Born on Aug. 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edward Y. and Frances E. Lovelace. Mrs. McGlohon is survived by a son Reeves McGlohon and his wife Peggy of Mount Holly and by two daughters Fan Smith and husband Skipper of Hickory; and Laurie Raeker and husband Steve of Denver. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A full obituary including information about a celebration of Mrs. McGlohon's life will be provided at a later date.
