Shelby StarShelby, NC September 23, 2016 MICHELLE EARNEY SHELBY-Michelle Lovelace Earney, 36, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday morning. She was born in Shelby, N.C., Sept. 29, 1979, to Roy Lovelace Sr. and Louise Oates Lovelace. Michelle was a free spirit with a servant's heart. She was a beloved sibling of Christine Lovelace Heath, Roy Lovelace, Tina Lovelace Kunz, and Logan Lovelace. She was survived by Alissa Crump, Brice Earney, and Hailey and Blake Spurling. There will be a private vigil held Saturday evening. Funeral arrangements will be held at 2 p.m., Sept. 25, 2016, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gastonia. Visitation and reception will follow the funeral.
