Don W. Takacs Takacs, Don W. Don W. Takacs, 61 of Windsor. Don passed on Friday Sept. 16th with his loving family at his bedside. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Takacs and Barbara VanBurger. Don is survived by his loving wife Marie Takacs daughter Amy and Junni Shabazz, two grand daughters. Special nephew Corey Fierro who he helped to raise. Two sisters, Sherry and Rick Hart, and Michele VanBurger. Mother in law Sandra and George Loveless,, sister in law Elizabeth Foss. Several very special nieces and nephews who idolized their Uncle D., step bothers Bryan and Scott, and several close cousins. Don will be forever remembered for his love of his dogs, and of hunting and fishing. There will be a celebration of Life for Don on Sunday, Sept. 25th at the VFW post 1449, on 103 Nanitcoke Ave in Endicott, from 1 pm to 5 pm.
