    2. Donna Price
    3. Mrs. Martha Adeline Lovelace, daughter of the late William and Melissa Mudd, was born near New Hartford, August 28, 1873 and departed this life at her home at Gazette, late Thursday afternoon, December 30th, after an illness of several weeks durations, at the age of 75 years, four months and two days. She was the widow of Henry Lovelace to whom she was wed at Ashley, and to that union five children were born: all of whom survive to mourn the passing of their loved one. They are Mrs. L. O. Thorpe of New Hartford: Claude of Bowling Green: Ray of Gazette; Everett of Vandalia and Harry of Bellflower. Mr. Lovelace died a number of years ago. In addition to fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Corena Reese and a brother, Ivy Mudd, with whom she lived at Gazette and who administered to her every comfort during her illness. Mrs. Lovelace spent her entire ife in the vicinity of her birth where she had a large number of other relatives and a host of friends by whom she will be remembered as a devoted mother, sister, kind and considerate neighbor and friend. The large attendance at her funeral services and the many floral pieces were a silent tribute to her many virtues. She attended the rural schools and at an early age professed her faith in Christ and became a member of the Methodist church at Gazette and during her lifetime remained a true and loyal member of that congregation. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, January first at the Gazette Methodist Church with internment in the Central union cemetery near that place. Appropriate music was rendered by the church choir. The casket bearers were her grandsons, Clarence Deppe, Junior Lovelace, Paul Lovelace, Gene Lovelace, Joseph Thorpe, and Raymond Thorpe. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family and friends. Henry Lovelace was the son of Jasper Newton Lovelace>Zachariah R. & Sarah Lovell>Zachariah Rhodam & Lucy Webster
