Mornin' Cuzzies, It was the total comedy of errors around here yesterday. Mix snow, ice,our extensive freeway system, and a bunch of Houston drivers and youhave a complete mess! And, believe me it was! The entertainment wasin watching the TV expose one car after another actually sliding down thetop of an overpass.....everyone had been told to stay at home, however,the Texans w/ grit were out and about.....some stalled for hours and hoursstuck on freeways w/ absolutely no traction.....200+ wrecks, 2 deaths, 1brand new baby born. However, the temps are expected to close in onthe 60's today. Super Bowl Dallas is beyond all help.....planes can't even get in or outtathere. Texans bemoan the money they are losing. And, here we are w/rolling blackouts and the biggest news here is the huge, huge oil fielddiscovered in South Texas....bigger by far than anything heretofore in theUS. Our gubmit has got to get a grip on the country's energy prob!!We have the petroleum products to supply us.....we just can't seem to getthe refineries to process it....well, you don't want to get me started on thatsubject, or for that matter, a number of others. And, believe me, I do know most everyone else is in far worse shape thanwe are.....the hot house plants of the Gulf Coast just get awfully funny whenthe temps drop. o : Have a good one! Susan
