Lovelace What little piece of the tree that I have shows a migration from Premier, McDowell, West Virginia through Ashe County, NC and then to the Greenville area is South Carolina. Bob Stewart ================================= >From Legacy.com Published in The Greenville News on February 24, 2011 Alpha Mae "Nana" Guy Lovelace Williamston Alpha Mae "Nana" Guy Lovelace, 97, of 6029 Midway Rd., widow of Albert Joseph Lovelace, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Riverside Living Center. Born in Princeton, WV, she was a daughter of the late George William and Mary Jefferson Guy. She was briefly employed with Martin Air Force Base in Baltimore, MD and was recently a homemaker. She had been adopted by the Beaverdam Baptist Church family. She was a dedicated mother and a precious grandmother with strong Christian faith. Surviving are granddaughter, Melissa "Missy" Gardo and husband, Robert, along with their son, Tyler; granddaughter, Jennifer Merideth and her children, Justin Glymph and Hunter Merideth; and a special friend and caretaker, Faye Bell, who was precious to Nana. She was predeceased by a daughter, Wanda Wood; six sisters; three brothers. The family is at the home of Robert and Missy Gardo, 415 Ballard Rd., Pelzer and will receive friends 4:30-5:30 pm Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
