    1. [LL] Mary Ola Millikan
    2. Donna Price
    3. Yes, Mary Ola was the only daughter of David Theodric Rushing Millikan and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Morrow. David was the brother of George Rufus Millikan. George was married three times, 1st to Emma R. Moser, 2nd to Dora Black and 3rd to Ella Frances Lovelace, daughter of Isaac N. and Selena Margaret Cobb Lovelace. Ella was my great grandmother. Through DNA testing, it has been documented Calvin Pickard Lovelace, another son of Barnett and brother to Isaac, is in the main Maryland group. The family of Selena Margaret Cobb, wife of Isaac N., mother to Ella Frances and James Campbell, has been identified as Henry Cobb The Elder of Barnstable, MA. A descendant of Noah and Phoebe Lovelace Cobb participated in the Cobb DNA project as well as a descendant of Henry Cobb and his first wife, Elizabeth Tennison. Henry married a second time to Mary Lovelace. Both Mary and Phoebe were sisters of Barnett and daughters of ZR and Lucy Lovelace. And, (my miracle with the old trunk in the attic) Emiline Priscilla Walker, mother of George Rufus and David, has been documented, and is in Group 2 of the Walker DNA project. On a trip to Jefferson County, TN, I found the name and address of Mr. Odell Walker, also researching James Walker of Jefferson County. When we returned home, I contacted Mr. Walker and asked if he would be willing to participate in the Walker DNA project. He was more than willing. He is not online - his grandson did all the communicating with Family Tree. We exchanged information and in one phone conversation, he thought he remembered a postcard written by one of the Millikan boys. Not too long after our conversation, I received a packet with not only the post card, but four letters written from the Millikans to his grandfather and great aunt. In those letters, Emiline, one sister and three brothers were identified as brothers and sisters and children of James. This is significant as James Walker was married three times, twice before the 1850 census. He identified his children from his 'other wives' simply as his 'other children' in his will. I'm now working on James Webster and the Benjamin Elmore connection, still trying to document Lucy, wife of ZR, as the Lucy Ann, daughter of James Webster of Maryland and Prince William County. A person has been posting Maryland records online dealing with Webster, Adams, Dorset, Waters, Harris and others. He/she is now following the families from Maryland into the Northern Neck of Virginia. I have other obits from the Bible and will post them to the Lovelace list as well as the Montgomery County, MO list. Donna PS Samuel Walker, ancestor of Elizabeth Orr married to Barnett H. Lovelace, has been identified as being in Group 33 of the Walker DNA Project. The last time I checked, there were no exact matches for the Orr descendant. - Show quoted text -
