The Star Shelby, NC March 21, 2011 PAULINE BRIDGES DIED MARCH 18, 2011 KINGS MOUNTAIN- Pauline Lovelace Bridges, 93, resident of Kings Mountain, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family singing to her on March 18, 2011. She was born in Lattimore, N.C. to the late George Nathan and Sarah E. Patterson Lovelace. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry A. Bridges, daughters, Rachel Stewart, Judy Bridges, grandson, Stanley Bridges, granddaughter, Susan Stewart, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. She was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church, Kings Mtn, very active at the Lawrence H. Patrick Senior Center, Kings Mtn. where she volunteered with the meals program, member of the Senior Citizens Band and was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year in 1990. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by sons, Fred Bridges and wife Doris, Kings Mtn., Bill Bridges and wife Louise, Shelby and Lee Bridges and wife Connie, Shelby; daughters, Nancy Waters and husband Ed, Kings Mtn., Shirley Reichartz, Lillington, N.C. and Trudy Martin, and husband Scott, Gastonia; brother, George Lovelace, Pineville, N.C.; sister: Edna Cooper, Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Tammy Truett, Christie Jackson, Anna McCall, Tim Bridges, Craig Bridges, Stacy Dellinger, Shannon Dellinger, Denise Davis, Scott Waters, Leonard Stewart, and Wanda Stewart, and 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.     3. Robert "Buddy" Lovelace (2011) LAWNDALE- Robert "Buddy" Dean Lovelace, 66, of 5026 Polkville Road, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at his residence. Born Nov. 27, 1944, in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Lloyd Richard Lovelace and Jessie Shirley Blanton Lovelace. Mr. Lovelace retired from Drexel Heritage after 43 years of service. He was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Richard Lovelace and Don Alfred Lovelace. He is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Linda Morgan Lovelace; son Jerry Lovelace and wife, Tammy of Lawndale; two grandchildren, Kristin Lovelace Moses and Bryan Lovelace; great-grandchild, Malachi Moses; brother, T.C. Lovelace of Ellenboro and sister, Mildred "Sis" Lovelace of Bostic. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Big Springs Baptist Church, Ellenboro. Mr. Lovelace will be available for viewing in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
