    3. Good evening, cuzzins! Well, I have had a pretty good day today. As you saw, I had some time to actually research some of the obituaries posted by Bob and Wanda, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm also immersed in March Madness, pulling for the UNC Tarheels to make it to the Final Four tomorrow in their game against Kentucky. Was shocked by the loss of Duke to Arizona night before last, but Arizona put in a mighty effort against UConn tonight in a losing effort. There has been all sorts of talk on the NC State blog sites about the possibility of Sean Miller, coach at Arizona, being a top candidate for the Wolfpack in their search for a new head basketball coach. Miller was an assistant several years ago, and his brother Archie, currently his assistant, was a starting point guard for the 'Pack. So the blogosphere will surely be buzzing now that Arizona is out of the NCAA Final Four picture. Oh, and I'm really looking forward to the NGS meeting in Charleston in May. There are so many great lectures... I've tentatively picked my schedule for the three or four days, and I just can't wait to attend. I just wish we could have gotten a bunch of us off the list to attend together. Oh, well.... We'll hopefully get together some time in the future for a big ol' "reunion". I really want to personally thank Bob Stewart for his supplying me with a copy of his database of Carolina Lovelxxx families and descendants. I was finally able to import his entire database into my TMG project and am looking forward to going through it sometime to see what he has discovered. Most of the additions will probably be in later generations, because Bob has diligently researched obituaries and other local records. Kudos to you, Bob.... Great work, and thanks for the file! So we're finally gettting a little bit of rain here in the SC Lowcountry tonight. It is rather refreshing tonight... there is a gentle cool breeze coming in the window of my office as I sit typing, and the gentle rain is washing the pollen out of the air. Susan's garden is going gangbusters with peas, lettuces, broccoli, carrots, and kale. We're waiting on a building permit to start a "granny cottage" in the backyard for Susan's mom, who is currently living in our house until the cottage is finished. Older daugher Sara is planning on moving in with us in early April, and younger daughter Maya is still with us. So we're gonna have a full house for a while! Everyone is healthy, and we're all doing OK work-wise. So I guess that's about it for tonight. Hope all of you are doing well. Everyone take care, and have a good remainder of the weekend! Peace, Part of the Tree, Greg

    3. I was impressed with Arizona against Texas and not surprised when they took Duke. Will be interesting to see what all comes about. Good luck in getting Arizona's coach. It appears that this is the year of the upsets and No 1 seeds doesn't impress the underdogs. :-) At 10:26 PM 3/26/2011, you wrote: >Good evening, cuzzins! > >Well, I have had a pretty good day today.
