He was counted in the household of Reason Lovelace in Bullitt County, Kentucky, on the 1810 census (Reason was actually enumerated twice). He married Sarah Fay Hall on 20 Sep 1810 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. He appears on the tax list for Shelby County, Kentucky in 1812 and 1814. He appears on the tax list for Bullitt County, Kentucky in 1815 and 1816. He appears on the census for Washington County, Indiana, in 1820, where he is named Richard Loveless. He appears on the census for Washington County, Indiana, in 1830, where he is named Richard Lovies. He appears on the census for Vernon Township, Washington County, Indiana, in 1840, where he is named Richard Loveless. He died on 02 Apr 1843 in Washington County, Kentucky.
