Published in Florence Times Daily on January 2, 2011 Florence, Alabama Doyal Lovelace, age 73, of Red Rock, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel, with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. David Conley is officiating. Mr. Lovelace was a native of Burnsville, Miss., and was retired from Chrysler and Ford Motor Co. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the United Auto Workers and a member of Red Rock Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Kimbrough Lovelace. He is survived by his son, Bryan "Scott" Lovelace and wife, Amy; granddaughters, Lori-Anna and Mary Lindsay Lovelace; brothers, Nathan Lovelace and Frank Wayne Bray; and sister, Ruth Gist. Pallbearers will include Harold Kimbrough, Archie Kimbrough, Tommy Kimbrough, Kevin Howard, Mark Kimbrough and Randy Jones. Honorary Pallbearer is Stevie Kimbrough. Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
