    2. Greg; Thanks, I have been doing the same thing, I find Jim Harlan's tree to be quite good. In the handwritten tree I have here, it has the father as Tom Jim (married Permelia Jasper) and the son as John Tom (married Sarah Dye) so it looks like it is tracking pretty well. I tend to get sidetracked when I find little tid bits like What my friend Betty had asked me to do was take two suitcases of "stuff" she a her husband had collected over the years, organize it, get it into a computer program so it could be printed out and verify where possible. I already did this for her family from two suitcases she had on them. That family was from around here in southern Indiana so was easier to work with. I could just walk over to the Jennings County Courthouse from where I live and get copies of documents. It is a bit of a run to Washington County, and even more of one to Pulaski County, Kentucky. I tend to get side tracked when I see something like "shot to death, homicide" on a death certificate, I just know there is a story there and want to know more. I am working on a project on the 82nd Indiana Infantry for one of my web sites and the same thing just happened with it. Note on the record that one fellow died by being shot by a fellow soldier, then a few names down the list another fellow was "hung by order of General Court Martial" for shooting a fellow soldier. I had to find more. Sheila
