Mornin' Cuzzies, It's abt. the Governor's race here in Texas.....newspapers this morn announcedthat abt. $100 mil was spent by candidates in primaries, etc. to win. Now, excuseme, I have to wonder if being the Gov. of Texas is worth that kind of money, and ifso, why? Maybe I don't get it....I wouldn't spend 25 cents Meskin money to be theGov. Then in the next article, it's all about all the programs offered and collegesand education that's gonna be done away with because the state coffers are empty,hurting lots of Texans who will lose their jobs. We the People didn't get out thereand spend the money so we don't have much anymore; the legislaturers did. And,why did they do that? Is it because they voted for more and bigger and better andmore expensive programs because companies and individuals standing to benefitgave the office holders money to vote the way they did? Doesn't seem like We thePeople are getting a fair shake, huh. And, better than that, the pundits who writethese stories don't even get or see the irony in having these two stories side by sideon the front page. Sometimes you gotta wonder how stupid really are We the People. As you go abt. your rat killing today, it might be good that your left hand knows whatyour right one is doing. o : Have a good one!
