    3. OK, everybody.... Maya started her new job about 10 minutes ago. She's working as a cook at Husk, the new restaurant in Charleston for Sean Brock, the James Beard Best Chef Southeast. With Husk, Brock is working on a revival of southern food with a "molecular gastronomy" twist. There is an article in Time magazine about him and this southern cuisine revival, and you can read it here: http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,2027672,00.html While you're reading, just imagine the flavors and think about my daughter working away in this kitchen :-) She was so excited last night after attending orientation with about 50 other employees (wait staff and cooks) that she was about to bust. She also shared the Husk website with us: http://www.huskrestaurant.com/ Go take a look..... YUM! And to Susan, I, too, was sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Kat. Never fear... I'm sure he's watching from kitty heaven, whatever form that may take for him, and warming someone's feet there. Stories about him will be missed.... Peace, Part of the Tree, Greg

    2. Donna and Carolyn, y'all are funny! Breaks up an otherwise dull day on the list. BTW, do I hear any chirps for Texas? Thought not! From the mornin' papers, it seems that 101,000 Orange Bloods in the stands were severely ticked at the Longhorns performance yesterday.....*in their faces* at the home field. Po little freshman quarterback just ain't got it. It's not that he doesn't have the system. He just doesn't have the innate talent one must have to go w/ the job. ) : Some of the big NCAA powerhouses just not performing up to snuff this year. Buckette Ticked even more 'cause the Titans benched Vince Young for today's game. And, the Texans not around..... Not a good football week-end..... Ever noticed that there are no sports stars named Lovelxxx? Just not in the genes.....

Brown might think about trying out the younger (Case) McCoy. The Aggies finally gave their backup QB a chance and whopped Kansas. Bill McMahon

I couldn't be more sympathetic to all of you thru the years while we've been here together and you have lost your partner. I wasn't appropriately aware, but I have definitely joined the club now! Whew..... My suggestion to everyone is.....make a deal w/ God that you go first! ( : In the meantime thru the flurry I'm noticing our kids.....murrrceee! Do they run, run, run......I've never seen anything like their schedules! Hurry, hurry, hurry.....and they are having no fun. What is causing all of this? What is their motivation? Do they not understand? They think it's par for the course. Da Kid sez....."Mom, at 5 o'clock our family all shut down. Everyone was home. We ate together, and then watched some TV together. We <he and the current squeeze and her two children> don't shut down until 10 every night." Then the squeeze stays in bed all of Sunday.....what's w/ that? She doesn't work. Ah just don't get it. Have a good one w/ the rest of the day! ( : Buckette

    3. Lou Ann, If I understand you correctly and I am reading the 1850 census correctly, then Alexander Cornwell is the son of Sally Cornwell and he is a Mattaponi. Is this the same Sally Cornwell that married Isaac Lee? If the Mattaponi women keep their maiden name when they marry and give their children their maiden name, does this mean that Susan's mother was a Lovelace who was married to a Mattaponi man? If so, who is the father of Susan's mother? Who is the father of Susan? Does Mini HaHa have the answers to these questions? 3. How do we known that the city of Rogers referred to in this article is in Taylor County? According to the GNIS, there is a populated area in Bell County (which is adjacent to Milam County) that is also called Rogers. Since the Deputy Sheriff is from Milam County, it seems more logical to me to think that the article is referring to Rogers, Bell County, Texas. I do have some Lovelaces living in Bell County, Texas, in 1880. But none of them are named Lee. 1. [LL] Obituary for Loveless descendant(?) Seth Darby Inman
    2. Posted: Tuesday, October 12, 2010 12:00 am Owasso (OK) Reporter Seth Darby Inman was born Sept. 9, 1988. Always wanting to be ahead of the game, Seth left his earthly shell on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 and hurried to heaven. Seth was reared and educated in Oologah, Okla. and graduated with the Oologah High School Class of 2007. He was continuing his education at OSU Tech in Okmulgee, Okla. He was a gift to his family. At times he was a challenge to his parents, but he was always a joy. His family has revisited countless funny stories they will cherish forever. They said there were millions of moments of laughter provoked by Seth’s funny jokes and expressions. He performed many quiet acts of service for those around him. Moments with brothers and sisters were always spent playing games, teasing, and imparting knowledge. He was a defender for the things he believed in. Seth was the “shark on meat” on the soccer field. This attitude carried him through his life. He was a voracious reader and athlete who also loved wrestling and bodybuilding. Seth made the time he spent with his family and friends happy and fun loving up to the very last moment. The family is comforted to look back and realize Seth had more peace and happiness lately than he ever had. He was enjoying his new studies in construction management and discovered a great new friend at school. He expressed how happy he was many times lately. His family will miss the backyard soccer games, the living room wrestling matches, the video game competition, and the jokes he played on his family members. How will they ever eat steak or brownies without remembering his love for great food? His family said there is not enough space here to describe how wonderful he was. He left behind three brothers, Jake Inman, Noah Inman, and Ethan Loveless; three sisters, Grace Inman, Luci Stinson, and Beth Loveless. He was fortunate to have loving parents, Mitch and Amber Inman of Oologah, and William and Raemie Loveless of Stroud, Okla. Grandparents are Glenna and Don Inman of Skiatook, Okla. Judy King of Morris, Okla., Mike Stinson of Florissant, Colo., Ron Dampf of Coweta, Okla., and Vicky and Alvin Eugene Loveless of Stroud. Seth also had numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Owasso. Serving as casket bearers will be Jake Inman, Troy McClain, Cameron Kelsey, Andrew Blagg, Matt Wilmott, and Justin Nolan. Serving as Honorary casket bearers will be Noah Inman, Kyle McClain, Ian Blanski, Jordan Stinson, James Wilson, Ethan Loveless, and Gabe Stinson. Committal services and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Talala, Okla. The family invites all of those whom would like to honor Seth to attend his services and join them at a reception after the graveside service to share in his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Seth Inman Contribution Fund, c/o of the Bank of Oklahoma, 9580 North Garnett Road, Owasso, OK 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. _www.moweryfs.com_ (http://www.moweryfs.com/) Photo and article at _http://www.owassoreporter.com/obituaries/article_cb8ec329-46e6-5ff1-9296-4e b6f2cee865.html_ (http://www.owassoreporter.com/obituaries/article_cb8ec329-46e6-5ff1-9296-4eb6f2cee865.html) Contributed by Bonnie Fletcher Eggert Elijah and Hannah Spaulding Loveless descendant Illinois->Owasso, OK
