    1. [LL] Friday morning
    2. Greg Lovelace
    3. Good morning, cuzzins..... Hope everyone is doing well. Nice to hear that Suze is getting things taken care of. I sure wish her the best in her move away from Houston. I just hate that things have taken so long and been so difficult to resolve after OB's passing. Seems like it's always that way. My mother-in-law had the same sorts of issues after her husband's death. Luckily I was there to offer help for my mom after my dad's death. And the experience and knowledge of legal records and in dealing with courthouse workers that I gained from my genealogy work helped tremendously in that. Speaking of mother-in-law, I'll be driving up to Raleigh this afternoon to help load up a Penske truck for her. She's moving to Charleston, temporarily in with us until she can get a granny cottage built on the back part of our lot. I get to drive the truck back down tomorrow. And we just found out that, next month, as a birthday present for me, our older (27 yo) daughter Sara will be boomeranging back into our household. I think she's looking at it as a long-term deal, while we're looking at a much shorter-term arrangement :-) Our younger daughter Maya is already living with us again, trying to regain her feet after a financial slide last year. She really wants to move out, but right now, her finances are still in turmoil, and she has at least several more months to go before she can even think about getting a place of her own. So... looks like we'll have a houseful come April. Five adult humans and three dogs.... It's gonna be a zoo, let me tell ya.... I'm still trying to hatch plans to become independently wealthy so I can quit work and concentrate on genealogy. So far all I can come up with is sinking $5 a week into the lottery and hoping for that 1-in-50 million chance and matching all the numbers. Not something you can actually count on.... As many of you may remember, I have been an avid NC State Wolfpack fan since I attended there in the late 60s and early 70s. After two basketball national championships (in 1974 and 1983), I, along with thousands of other Wolfpack faithful, are suffering through what can only be described as one of the most disappointing basketball seasons we've ever had. It's almost over.... one more regular season game tomorrow, then the ACC Tournament next weekend. I'm pretty sure the season will mercifully end with our first, possibly second game in said tournament. Then, if you believe the fan blogs, our head coach (Sidney Lowe, point guard on the 1983 national champion team) will get his walking papers and we'll once again be desperately searching for someone who, in maybe 3 or four years, might be able to compete with Duke and North Carolina again. It has been a long, long quarter-century for State basketball <sigh> And with that, I guess I'd better get busy here in the lab and try to do a little work before I take off to get ready for the road trip. Y'all have a great day, and a wonderful weekend. Spring is coming! The azaleas in the SC Lowcountry are beginning to bud, as are the trees. Flowers are beginning to bloom, and birds are staking out their breeding territories. It won't be long! Peace, Part of the Tree, Greg

Does anyone else have anything to add on Parnell? Peace, Part of the Tree, Greg
