    1. [LL] Char McCargo Bah
    2. Greg Lovelace via
    3. Folks, I just watched the CBS Evening news tonight, and there was a segment on the Alexandria (VA) Freedmen Cemetery. A professional genealogist, Char Bah, was mentioned as having found living descendants of many of the people buried there. You can read a little about it on this page at Char's website: http://theotheralexandria.com/2013/09/02/searching-for-descendants-of-the-al exandria-freedmen-cemetery/ Those of you who have been on the list for a long time might remember that Char joined our list for a while, looking for African-American Lovelace roots. I've sent her an email congratulating her on her accomplishment and on making the national news as a professional African-American genealogist. Peace, Part of the Tree, Greg
