Mary Elizabeth Pruett (nee Lovelace) passed away late on Thursday afternoon, February 12, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer. Mary Pruett was born on July 26, 1952, the daughter of Ruby and Lowell Lovelace. A lifetime resident of Rolla, Mary was a graduate of Rolla High School. As a young adult she accepted Christ as her savior and was affiliated with the Greentree Christian Church of Rolla. Mary worked as an in-home caregiver for Rolla Home Care and for the last few years as a senior companion. She enjoyed immensely the interaction she had with her clients. She is survived by two brothers: John Lovelace of Atlanta, Georgia; Ed Lansford (wife Linda) of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Pegge Lansford Culp (husband Ron) of Whitsett, North Carolina; five nephews and two nieces; five great-nieces and five great- nephews; seven cousins; her best friend Gary Linna of Rolla, and many other friends. Memorial services for Mary Pruett will be conducted by Pastor Tim Cook at 11 am on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Greentree Christian Church located at 800 Greentree Road in Rolla, Missouri. Wesley D. Bruce Wesley D. Bruce, age 81, of Milwaukee, died on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Escanaba, MI, on March 31, 1933, the son of the late Emil and Waunita Loveless Bruce. He grew up in upper Michigan and attended local schools in Gwinn, Michigan. Wesley was a United States Army Veteran and served his country from 1952 to 1955. He was a maintenance man for Marine Bank in Milwaukee. Wesley enjoyed listening to music and was an avid sports fan as well. Survivors include his two brothers, Warren (Shirley) Bruce, of Munising, MI, Franklin (Cathy) Bruce, of Hemlock, MI; three sisters, Mary (Richard) Bosetti, of Milwaukee, Joan Bruce and Ingrid (Mark) Kasberger, both of Sheboygan. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Dean, Roger and Bradley Bruce and a sister, Debbie Bruce. Gerri Keller Carter, age 53, passed away Feb. 7, 2015, in the couple's second home in Beaver Dam, Arizona, with her husband at her side. Gerri was born on Nov. 3, 1961, in Preston, Idaho, to Ruel Smith and Shirley Henderson Keller. She married Kent Loveless on July 11, 1986, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed for a short time with an infant daughter Jenna Camille Loveless, born Nov. 8, 1989. They were later divorced.Gerri attended school in Preston, later graduating high school. She attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, where she received her Associates Degree. She moved to Logan, Utah, in 1982, where she worked at Wilson Motor for 16 years. In 1998 Gerri decided she didn't want to live through another cold Cache Valley winter so she headed off to sunny and much warmer St. George, Utah, where she was employed by the city of St. George. There she met and later married the love of her life, Rod Carter. Gerri and Rod began their amazing life together on March 18, 2000, at the beautiful Tuacahn in Ivans, Utah. >From this marriage Gerri became a loving mother to Jerran, Andrew and Alyssa Carter, who she loved very much, and they simply adored her. Gerri was employed at SkyWest Airline Corporate Office in St. George at the time of her death.Gerri was very kind, soft spoken and loved by so many people. She had a bubbly personality and a beautiful smile. Jane Lankford McGahee Mar. 13, 1920 - Jan. 26, 2015 Jane McGahee died quietly in her sleep on January 26, 2015. She was born in Carney Point, New Jersey on March 13, 1920. Her parents were John Mark Lankford and Mina McElroy Lankford. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Girls High School. Jane attended Georgia State College for Women and graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 1958. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received a Masters of Arts degree in Reading Education from Jacksonville State University. In 1970, she received another Masters of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling at Florida Atlantic University. Jane married Reverend Edge McGahee in 1939. As the wife of a Methodist Minister she lived in several places in Alabama including Decatur, Moulton, Mulga, Cahaba Heights, Talladega and Hokes Bluff. In 1965, the family moved to south Florida near Ft. Lauderdale. There Jane worked as a teacher of reading and as a guidance counselor. After Jane retired, she and Edge moved to Keystone Heights in north Florida. In Keystone Heights, she was an active member of the Methodist Church, serving as a member and President of the United Methodist Women and singing in the church choir. She was a member of the Board of the Community Bank, working to provide food and clothing to those in need. In 2002, Jane and Edge relocated to Kirkwood by the River in Irondale, where Jane was president of the Residents Association. She was a member of Leeds First United Methodist Church and American Association of University Women. All her life, Jane was an avid reader. She kept a card file to document each of the hundreds of books that she read. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, and her grandson, John Spann. EAST OTTO - Susan "Tinker" M. Feldman, 59, of Mill Valley Road, passed away Thursday (Feb. 5, 2015) at Buffalo General Hospital. She was born March 4, 1955, in Salamanca, the daughter of Lucille Loveless Harris of Ellicottville and the late Arthur "Bud" Poole. On Feb. 19, 1977, in Ellicottville, she married Dennis "Denny" Feldman, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Ellicottville. She enjoyed antiquing and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved dogs. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Sara (Randy) Krotz of Ellicottville; brothers, Peter (Ann) Poole of Little Valley and Bobby Poole of Ellicottville; three grandchildren, Lisa, Zackary and Katie Krotz; a brother-in-law, Paul (Carol) Bell of Frewsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Lisa Bell. Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 12, 2015) at Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Ellicottville. The Rev. Ronald Mierzwa will officiate. Lisa Broyles(1970 - 2015) BROYLES Lisa Crowe, 45, wife of Herbert L. "Sonny" Broyles, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015. She was born January 18, 1970 in Lexington to Dallas and Marshia Kidwell Crowe. Lisa was a SRNA and activities director. Surviving relatives include two sons, Christopher DeWayne Broyles and Joshua Lee Broyles; sister, Tammy Loveless; sister-in-law, Kimberly Waugh; a granddaughter and grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark DeWayne Crowe and mother-in-law, Betty Carol Broyles; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Juanita Kidwell. Funeral services will be 12:30 pm Monday, February 9, 2015 at Kerr Brothers, Harrodsburg Road. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery.
