Searching for the first wife of Samuel Love Sr of Knox Co TN. He died Apr 1826 Knox Co and his will lists 7 sons: William, David, Samuel who married Charlotte Bell, John who married Nancy McSpadden & Emily Barnwell, Robert, Joseph L. who married Mary E. (Polly) Bell, and Isaac who married Phoebe Connelly (my line). Samuel m/2nd Mary (Polly) Smith 12 July 1822 Knox Co TN. She was not the mother of his children, they had none. In a book on the Lyle Family, Oscar Lyle wrote that Pleasant Love, son of John & Nancy McSpadden Love was "son of Samuel Love & Miss Perry." Did he accidently skip the parents and get the grandparents? Have never seen a marriage for a Love to a Perry. Does anyone have information on this line? TIA for all help, leads & clues. Judy Germann
