Oct 1999 was the last gathering of Loves from this list. Some attended and we shared a lot and had some fun too. Others could not come and instead,sent me genealogy reports which I printed out and put on the table in Nashville to see if anyone was related to those people. One thing I will tell you about running a big list like this. I don't know all of you. I get a list of email addresses and not names. Unless someone writes to me privately then I don't get to know every subscriber. I don't know if Patsy Knight is on the list or not but she sent me a file in 1999 along with about a dozen other researchers. I will talk about hers. She said she is descended from Robert Love >> Hezekiah Love>>> Jesse Love>> William Carroll Love>>> Pinkney Clifton Love>> Wiley Love>> And Patsy. Patsy must be a good researcher because her source notes printed out to 18 pages. She listed Robert love born between 1715-1720 Ballymoney, Craigetampan, Antrip County Ireland died 1786 in Kershaw Lancaster Co. SC. He married Violet Wilson daughter of Robert Wilson and she was born in Chester Co. PA. ---------------------- I will not list the children of I don't think we are still sure of that. The problem is that we have been unsure of where we came from for a hundred years ( or maybe it just seems that way ) Our paper work is lovely to look at but none of us has proven very much. Here I go again. My feelings are that only a very many Y-DNA tests are going to help us. I am not trying to sell anything other than the concept. I can just tell you that I believe in these tests and for very selfish reasons I hope a bunch of you believe too.
