    3. Thanks Judy for your census information. Eliza and Richard LOVE did indeed have a daughter, Cecilia, who was married to Brigadeer General Lewis Armistead, C.S.A. He would die in 1863 at Gettysburg. She was obviously living with them for a while in 1850 while Armistead was stationed at Ft. Snelling. Her husband, Richard, had died in 1832. She lived most of the last 40 years of her life with her daughter, Flora, who married Rev. William Johnson. The "W.K" in the census record was Walker Keith Armistead, born December 11, 1844. He would also serve in the Confederate Army. Good evening, I knew I had picked up a piece of this puzzle at one time, it just took a couple of days to "unfile" it. I found Eliza Matilda Love in the 1850 census (Minnesotal Territorial) Dakotah County, the Garrison at Ft. Snelling House 77/family 79 Armstead, Maj. Lewis 33 NC Army Officer Cecelia L. 27 VA W. K. 4 VA (female) Hendricks, Mary 32 Wisc Geo. 1 Minn (male) Love, E. M. 60 VA I was reading this census for a completely different family when I saw this and made note of it.
