Janet Lockert was the daughter of my gggg-grandfather, Aaron Lockert(Lockhart) of Chester Co., SC. From what I can decipher, Cpt. James Love, III, was the son of John Love and Martha Drennan. If I am reading this correctly, John (a tailor) was one of the sons of James Love (a weaver) and Martha Harvey. John's Will of 1802 lists the following children: William, Jane, James, Martha, John, Thomas, Robert, Joseph and Sarah. This will was probated 19 Nov. 1802. It seems that Thomas and Robert married Dowdle sisters and one of the girls married Robert Ellitt(?Elliott). There is evidently a Love family web site on which all this information is posted. I have a lot of info on the Lockert family, but have just started to try to untangle the Love line. James Love married Janet Lockert and William Love married Margery Lockert.
